Cecil has been involved with employee benefits for over 30 years and has almost 40 years experience in the insurance industry. He founded C.L. Wyman & Associates, Inc. in 1986 with his wife, Diane, and together they led the company to what it has become today. He claims his success has come from a very simple formula of surrounding himself with good people. “Our staff and the service we provide is second-to-none.”

Timothy J. Wyman
President

Tim started at C.L. Wyman & Associates, Inc. after graduating from Illinois State University in 1992. His background and education is quite diverse, and he has been instrumental in the growth and marketing of the company. Actively involved in the community, including the local arts scene, Tim credits the growth of the company to the team concept. He is married to Annie and has three children, Alex, Maggie and Sam.

Robert C. Parkhurst
Chief Financial Officer

Bob joined The Wyman Group in 2004, and his immediate and positive impact has been a welcome addition. He is a CPA with over 20 years experience in auditing, finance and system design and implementation, and is solely responsible for the creation and management of our payroll division. This life-long Peoria native has held top managerial positions at several prestigious companies and has a degree in accounting from Illinois State University. Actively involved in the community, he is married to Jenny and has two beautiful children.

Michael Higgins
Vice President

Mike joined The Wyman Group to head its property and casualty and financial services divisions in 2007. He has extensive background including nearly seven years in claims with State Farm Insurance® and three years as an agent and investment advisor with Country Insurance and Financial Services®. Mike received his BA from Eastern Illinois University, and is a member of the 40 Leaders Under Forty class of 2008. Mike is married to Tiffany and has one daughter, Allisyn, and twin boys, Connor and Drew.

Matthew M. Wyman
Director of Information Systems

Matt has long been appreciated at The Wyman Group who, as the Director of IS, makes the office go. Wearing many different hats during his time with The Wyman Group, his biggest success was as Director of Operations for Progressive Benefit Services for almost 10 years. Graduating from Illinois State University in 1995, his varied skills and expertise make him invaluable to our companies. He is married to Katie and has two sons, Aidan and Jonah.

Lynn Taylor
Director of Client Services

Lynn has well over twenty years of experience in the health insurance and employee benefits market, and we could not be more fortunate to have her with The Wyman Group.  Simply put, she is the one person who makes the office work, and is responsible for oversight of operations and direct service to the broker and their clients.  There is no one person in local Peoria marketplace with more knowledge or commitment to service than Lynn.  In her free time, she enjoys home projects, including gardening, with her husband, Dick, and spending time with her two children and two grandchildren.

Mike Reams
Senior Executive Underwriter

Mike’s meticulous nature and great spirit fits well with The Wyman Group as our head underwriter.  He is a Peoria native and graduate of Bradley University, and brings extensive insurance and customer service to his position here.  Prior to joining the Wyman team in 2006, Mike worked as an accounts specialist at Mason Insurance in the Chicagoland area and for the Glen Oak Zoo.  In his free time, Mike is very active with the various local area theater groups.

Ann Barth
Claims Coordinator

Ann obtained her BA in management from the University of Illinois at Springfield and currently serves as our very talented eligibility and claims coordinator.  Her background is thoroughly impressive with positions as the office manager at IPMR and vice president of S.A.F.E. Inspections, Inc.  Ann is also active in local theater and serves as an adult literary tutor.  We could not be more fortunate to have her as an integral part of our team.

Leslie Chinn
Client Payroll Supervisor

Leslie is a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) and received her certificate from the American Payroll Association in 2003.  Her many talents has let her hold positions as payroll specialist, trainer and supervisor, and is a trained tax specialist.  Uniquely qualified in this very detailed and precise industry, we feel fortunate to have someone of Leslie’s abilities working with us.  While not at work, Leslie spends every moment with her beautiful daughter, Abby.

Beth Reynolds
Client Service Manager

Beth brings over 20 years of experience to The Wyman Group and is a tremendous asset to our company.  Her background lies in the arena of property and casualty and has extensive experience in customer service that is well utilized with our clients.  She has been happily married to Scott for over 25 years and is so very proud of her four children.

Elise Burnett
Receptionist/Data Entry

Elise is proud to be the “Director of First Impressions” for The Wyman Group and is the person behind the friendly and helpful voice when you call our company. She is currently enrolled at Illinois Central College and pursuing a certificate as a data entry clerk, and plans to complete her BA soon. Previously, she worked as a customer service representative for Affina here in Peoria. She is very proud and happy to be a very important team member for The Wyman Group.
